The latter has been linked with a transfer to Lazio recently and the club are already eyeing possible replacements. Ventola would be an ideal option for the minnows as the former Italian Under-21 international doesn’t seem to be in Inter’s immediate plans. The ex-Bari ace has had an injury plagued last two seasons at the San Siro and an exit is reportedly close. Ventola is sixth choice forward at Inter behind Crespo, Vieri, Recoba, Kallon and Nigerian teenager Obafemi Martins – who has graduated from the youth team squad.
